Barrister and Mann Red Letter Day Hand and Body Soap, 5.25oz - Limited Edition

Intended as a celebration of our tenth anniversary on March 18th, Red Letter Day is comprised entirely of notes that scored 30% or more on our survey (nothing hit 40%), principally vanilla, bergamot, cedar, sandalwood, leather, and cedar.

It's far from the rooty, dusty cedar that we have employed elsewhere, and the woody character of RLD is crisp and clean, with a touch of creaminess from the sandalwood laid over the base vanilla character. The tangy zest of bergamot and a touch of bitter leather round out the design, a striking contrast to the rest of Red Letter Day's softly sweet, woody design. We weren't sure that this was going to work, but the outcome of the project has exceeded all expectations. We hope you're as delighted with Red Letter Day as we are, and we hope you'll celebrate ten years with us!

The Soap:

Sometimes there's nothing so comforting as good old-fashioned bar soap. Tyler Durden called it "the yardstick of civilization," and it has long been in the running for the most important medical development of all time. It's safe to say that we would not have made it nearly as far as a species were it not for the invention of soap in Sumeria thousands of years ago.

While we believe in simplicity, we know that many people do not care for soap made from animal fats. Thus, we're thrilled to debut our brand new vegetable bar soap, made with responsibly-sourced, certified-origin palm oil, pomace olive oil and avocado oil, moisturizing cupuaçu butter, and goat milk powder for a nourishing, moisturizing soap ideal for any time of year, but especially for the cooler, drier months.

Ingredients: Responsibly-Sourced Palm Oil, Aqua, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil Pomace, Sodium Hydroxide*, Avocado Oil, Glycerin, Castor Oil, Cupuaçu Butter, Sodium Lactate, Fragrance (Unless Unscented), Saccharide Isomerate, Goat Milk Powder.

• Maggard Razors will make every effort to ship out orders on the same day placed before 12pm EST Monday-Friday. On Saturday, most parcels should ship if placed before 10am EST - otherwise it will ship the following Monday.  Orders will be shipped in the order in which they are received. If it is an unusually busy day your order may be delayed no more than 1 business day. 

• Unused items (except samples) may be returned within 10 days for a full refund or store credit. For orders that qualified for free or reduced shipping, if a return causes the resulting total order size to be under the free shipping threshold (currently $59.00), the actual cost of shipping we paid will be reduced from your refund. Used products may not be returned, and all sales are final on Samples.
