3Here in Saint Louis, the word “confluence” is used for many reasons. Of course, the easiest connection is the meeting of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. But also, due to its origins as a trading hamlet, many nationalities and backgrounds had to come together to trade together and merge their cultures to work together.
This scent is a confluence of the coniferous forests and the incense burning in the newly settled hamlet. It's a confluence of cultures and of scents wrapped up in the infamous Milksteak Base.
Notes: Frankincense, palo santo, benzoin, elemi, cedar, black spruce, atlas cedar, juniper and fir balsam.
BASE: Milksteak is my tongue-in-cheek name for the culmination of all of my soap crafting experience to date. While the name may be whimsical, it was an incredibly difficult decision to deprecate Bison and Icarus - one I would not make without full confidence that I was releasing not only the best soap base I have ever developed, but one of the finest soap bases ever created.
Over three years of customer feedback, research, theory crafting and, of course, love, went into this soap base. I focused on ease of use (softer than Icarus), slickness, and post-shave - all the hallmarks of a great soap.

Maggard Razors will make every effort to ship out orders on the same day placed before 12pm EST Monday-Friday. On Saturday, most parcels should ship if placed before 10am EST - otherwise it will ship the following Monday. Orders will be shipped in the order in which they are received. If it is an unusually busy day your order may be delayed no more than 1 business day.
Unused items (except samples) may be returned within 10 days for a full refund or store credit. For orders that qualified for free or reduced shipping, if a return causes the resulting total order size to be under the free shipping threshold (currently $59.00), the actual cost of shipping we paid will be reduced from your refund. Used products may not be returned, and all sales are final on Samples.
