  • Maggard Razors will make every effort to ship out orders on the same day placed before 12pm EST Monday-Friday. On Saturday, most parcels should ship if placed before 10am EST - otherwise it will ship the following Monday.  Orders will be shipped in the order in which they are received. If it is an unusually busy day your order may be delayed no more than 1 business day. 

  • Unused items (except samples) may be returned within 10 days for a full refund or store credit. For orders that qualified for free or reduced shipping, if a return causes the resulting total order size to be under the free shipping threshold (currently $59.00), the actual cost of shipping we paid will be reduced from your refund. Used products may not be returned, and all sales are final on Samples.

Excellent shave, but a bit pricey considering there are less expensive alternatives that give a good shave.

I'm wondering if there's some same-batch variabiliy, or something else. I tried two blades from a sampler pack, loved them. Trying again, hating it. Tugs, pulls, even a couple of small nicks. I haven't changed razors or soap brands (Stirling). I'm shaving every other day now (Covid-19 regimen!) but otherwise no changes.

Let me preface with my facial hair and skin type as I do think this impacts blade performance. I’ve got pretty thick coarse hair and slightly sensitive skin (due mostly to said hair). I’ve been shaving with DEs for a few months and I did start off with IMHO pretty primo blade brands such as Kai, Feather, Astra, and Rapira. All are very keen and smooth blades with minute variances to me. I’d suggest those to anyone. However, GSBs day one to three have been an unpleasant and bloody trial. Tried several preshaves and soaps to see if that helped but no luck. They will cut my hair and take some flesh and blood with them. Brand new they shaved as good as my daily used, month old Mach 5 cartridges if that puts it into perspective.
