This oil is perfect for keeping your straight razor from rusting. Just put a small amount on a paper towel then pinch the spine of the razor in the oiled spot. Run the oiled towel down the blade and then onto the tang. Put a small drop into the pivot area and you are ready to store your razor! It really is as easy as that.

Make sure you oil your razor if you will not be using it more than 3 days or if you are sending it out for honing or repair.

The oil works good but it's too hard to get out of the hard plastic bottle. The bottle should be changed to a squeezable bottle with a narroe nosed applicator tip.
