I took out 2 small spoonfuls of the soap (1 small spoon = 1/4 teaspoon) and put it into a Timeless bowl. I worked the soap with a dampened brush using warm distilled water. The soap isn't a "thirsty" one and I only added 2 more small spoonfuls of warm distilled water to get it where I like. The lather isn't as thin as Shannon's Soaps but it is about there. I had a very little dissipation on the neck area for the Against pass before going to the head shave. The initial glide and residual slickness is way up there and even when rinsing off, I could still feel it. The main turn off is the scent as it smells like old cigarettes butts in an ashtray. I about wretched in the shower when using it. I may revisit the brand while trying another scent as this one was not good at all.

Just love this one. It reminds me of Creed Aventus but not overpowering. It’s like Captains Choice made this fit them. Not a clone but inspired. One of the best. Witch hazel makes this great for the skin afterwards.

Wow!! Yes!! This is awesome!! It is cool and crisp scent. The menthol feeling you get afterwards is amazing. Awesome scent. I love this. Almost an aquatic.

I don’t like bay rum but I like this one. It’s very mellow and the way it soothes my skin afterwards makes this like able.

I had to opposite experience as the other reviewer. The smell made a Bay Rum lover out of me and the lather was extremely cushioned and slick. I've used many different brands of creams and soaps and this beats out others that are 3 times the price.
