The Arlington Shaving Stick contains a solid white shaving soap of the finest quality. Triple-milled to increase the richness and luxuriousness of the lather. This gentle soap has been fragranced with Arlington, a classic blend of Citrus and Fern. Incredibly economical, each stick will last for several months.

To use, wet the beard with warm water then apply a wet shaving brush to the soap. Finally, lather up either in a bowl or directly on the face and apply to the beard.

My opinion of D.R. Harris soaps improves the more I use them. The scents are mild and it takes 4 or 5 shaves before the scents open up. Blooming new soap helps soften them up a little. The lather is thick, slick and luxurious. The scent of Arlington is like fern and cream with a bit of sweet citrus. For some reason I didn’t like it at first, but now it is a favorite. Windsor, Marlborough and Lavender sticks are great too. The sticks are pricier than refill pucks, but the tubes and labels are cool and convenient and due to the hard, triple milled soap, will last a long time. If you like to face lather this is the way to go.
