I had a good experience with these blades, primarily using the Maggard MR1 V3, i was able to get a couple good shaved out of each blade. I first got these in a sample pack and while i liked the astra blades a lot these were good as well. Like others have said blades are different for everyone so try them out but ymmv.

Terrible experience

Judging from the reviews, these are a love 'em or hate 'em blade. Count me in the latter camp. On my face, using my Blackland Dart, I got terrible pulling and scraping with a brand new blade. I switched to my old stand-by Feather to check if it was my prep, and it was like night and day, so I know it was the blade. I wish you all better luck than I had!

I tried the blade in my Maggard MR1/v2, and the combination of that razor, that blade, and my face was horrible. I ended up with 3 cuts on my face on the first shave, more than I got from the other 4 blades I tested combined. I did that yesterday morning, and my face was too irritated to shave today. I'm tossing the rest of the pack, I'm not a novice to DE, I used one for over 20 years, then when they started drying up in the stores, I went cartridge. I got a razor, and samples of blades for Christmas. I like the Astra platinum best, I wouldn't toss out the Derby's, they work, and I get about 4 shaves, the Gillette green box Super stainless is not bad, but, it seems to only be good for 2 shaves. The 7AM surprised me, handily beating the Shark blades for bottom spot. It was the sampler pack of 5 blades. The sampler pack is a great way to go, You'll zero in pretty quick on what works for you, and you're not stuck with a lot of blades you don't want anywhere near your face.

I've read good and bad about these blades and ordered a pack of 5 to try them. My main shaver is the Merkur Futur. This blade worked great. Smooth and sharp with no pulling or nicks or cuts. Only had to do a second pass on certain spots with a little touching up to do. I don't know how they work in less aggressive razors but they work great in my Futur. Like to see if all 5 are consistent before ordering them in bulk. So far I've gotten 4 good shaves on the first blade. Blades work differently for everyone so give them a try.
