I picked up a Blackland Vector Titanium razor and was trying different blades to find one that worked well for my face. I had most of the different types of Feather blades, a few types Kai blades and the Schick P-30 blades as well. The Kai ProTouch blades were nice, but I wanted to have an unguarded blade as well that would work with the Vector. I was looking for a blade that was not rough and not take a shave or two to break them in (to where they shaved smoothly). I ran across a mention of these Kai Captain blades on the Blackland Razors site but there was not much more that I could find about these blades. I did find a post or two mentioning them and they seemed to be compared to the Feather Professional blades (but smoother from all accounts). The Feather Professional blades were very rough (not smooth) when I used them in the Vector, so I thought I would buy a pack and give them a try. I was extremely happy with these blades! Out of the pack, they were smooth and sharp. No break in period required. The only negative I had about these blades is that the spring was initial compressed in the blade dispenser and I could not extract a blade. I inserted a slim metal handle to push down the blades and the spring expanded to support the blades on both ends. At that point, I could extract the blades and use them like any other blade dispenser. I would definitely recommend these blades for the Vector (and any other AC-style razor).
