One serious brush!

This brush's handle is slightly larger than Omega's 10049 handle and the knot is considerably substantial. Can't wait to use it. I have big hands, so the big handle is very much appreciated. Thank you, Maggard!

Dissapointing experience

On first shave my new 30mm Black and White lost 11 bristles. While it might stop, the real problem is the enormous glue bump. It goes up to about 35-40% of the loft, which I've never experienced before. The hair is very soft, as I expected from Tuxedo, but the very high and wide glue bump prevents the knot from splaying. I really tried to open the knot, but even pushing it slightly against the skin, makes the hard top of the glue bump immediately felt of your face. The brush is practically unusable.

Excellent brush. So dense. So soft. As far as synthetic brushes go, it’s probably the best performing brush I own. It is big; it’s very similar in size to my Simpsons Chubby No. 3 Manchurian ‘Extra’ but it doesn’t need the babying that badger brushes require.

This was an excellent Father’s Day gift from Wifey and daughter.. It’s an absolute joy for face lathering and also more than up to snuff for finicky creams that demand work in a bowl. Comfortable, capable, convenient. It is a righteous prince amongst lather monsters.

This brush is a monster, I love it. Lathers like an absolute beast and holds more than enough for me to get through a 3 pass face shave and a 2 pass head shave with touch-ups. I've really taken to synthetic brushes, to the point where I don't really use my animal hair brushes much, and this brush just furthers my love of synthetics. The handle feels good in my hand, I can really hold onto it well, unlike some of my smaller handled brushes. So for me this is an all around great brush. If I had to voice one complaint, minor though it may be, it's that the handle is a little plain Jane, it would be nice to see some more aesthetic coloring/handle material...perhaps a two-tone resin.
