It's so TINY and CUTE and so awesome!

It is TINY - but EXACTLY what I wanted for my compact travel kit (I use an Osprey Ultralight Zip Organizer, fantastic BTW!). A bit small, IMHO, for everyday use but as an easily packable brush for on the road, it's a perfect compromise - knocks the ball out of the park! Very soft. And the price, well, way better than a Simpsons, though that Wee Scot is awesome, too! Another "review" asked if it fits in the Simpsons SMALL travel container and it absolutely does. Diameter is PERFECT, though length-wise there is a little excess room, about 1/4" at the top of the loft so (a) the brush can move around in the Simpson's small case and (b) it definitely increases the packing size - longer and wider than the brush itself, but it does fit in my kit, YMMV, just be aware that definitely the case increases the size over and above this "wee" little brush alone, so if you're going minimalist and for smallest size possible, just pack the brush itself. Since I don't want to carry a stand when traveling, I came up with a hanger system that packs lightly - a small chain that I had, hooked to my travel kit's back-up hanger, and a 1" diameter "book ring" (the type that opens, can get them at any big-box office supply store). The 1" ring fits perfectly around the diameter of the handle, and I can hang it on a door hook or small towel rack to allow it to dry bristles down. And of course the synthetic bristles dry more quickly. All in all, a fantastic purchase, a superb travel brush!

Excellent travel brush, nice backbone, easy to make a leather (not tons like bigger brushes) for 2,even 3 passes.

Awesome little brush

I've been using a Simpsons Wee Scot as my daily driver brush for about a decade, as I just find that anything over about 20mm in knot diameter is just too big for my liking. Lately I had been wondering if I could find a similarly sized synthetic brush, since I'd been hearing a lot of good things about synthetics, but all I could ever find was like 24mm+ knots. Enter Maggard's black friday sale and huzzah, a nice looking 18mm synthetic! I'm so glad I bought this one. It's got silky soft tips but still enough backbone to scrub and build a good lather. If you like scritch, though, this will disappoint you on that front. None to be had. It holds plenty of lather for my three pass shaves. I'll be keeping this one in my den right next to my Wee Scot and likely use them in equal measure. A top tier tiny twosome!

Great brush that can work up a lather despite its diminutive size. Great travel brush because the synthetic knot dries quickly. Soft enough to face lather which is desirable in a travel brush as well.
