First real quality syntheic I've owned. The knot feels bigger because the bristles are not floppy at all and holds its shape. Really exceeded my expectations and I'm actually preferring this over my badger and boar brushes. Well done

I only own a couple other shave brushes but haven't been totally satisfied with either and wanted to try another synthetic but with a bigger knot and some backbone and this one jumped out at me, particularly for such a great price. I ordered it, got great service and fast shipping and broke it out this morning with some Tabac soap, my 1953 Gillette Super Speed and a Nacet blade and had literally one of the best shaves of my life. This brush is simply fantastic. If you're thinking of ordering a brush, if it's your first or your 100th, do yourself a favor and just order this one!! You won't regret it. It's my favorite already.

Have had this brush for over a year now. Absolutely love it. Great backbone but also extremely soft. My go-to brush and I have nice silver tips as well. Have found that I reach for this and now find $100+ silvertips to be floppy and harder to later. This is outstanding for face lathering. I just wish Maggards had more handle options - both with this and with the “black and silver” synthetic heads. I would have 3 or 4 more of them. Hands down the best synthetic I have used.
