Castle Forbes The Pre Shave Unscented, 150ml Bottle

I didn't quite get how to use this product at first, but after I got the hang of it, I liked it very much. My mistake was putting it on in the shower in an attempt to let it soften my beard hairs. It is not very thick, so it would pretty much all be gone by the time I was actually ready to shave. Lately I have been applying it to my face just before lathering and it seems to work much better. It really enhances the glide of almost any soap. I've used the Cube 2.0 from Phoenix Artisans Accouterments and this is still far better. The price is certainly high, but so is the quality. One strange drawback is that when I get it on my lips, it for some reason gives them that squeaky clean kind of feeling. That seems to be the only drawback though.

This is a great preforming pre shave, I accidentally shaved with out it one day, never again!I know some people think of pre shave oils as snake oil but every body's face is different. What I like most is, it dos not leave an oily residue on your hands. I used to have problems with my previous favorite pre shave because it was impossible to pull my skin taut

I use to use the Anthony Logistics Pre-Shave Oil and I thought it was good, but I was looking to see what else was out there. Maggard had the travel bottle so I decided to try it out. This stuff is incredible, it doesn't have the best smell in the world but the performance is tremendous. The consistency is similar to a gel, it goes on easy and there isn't any residue. I use creams exclusively and found that this works well to keep my face hydrated while i'm bowl lathering. My face has a nice slickness and it enhances whichever cream i'm using.
