Catie's Bubbles La Terre Verte Artisan Shaving Soap, 4oz

Wonderful scent and great performance

Not hugely impressed if I'm honest. I like the scent, the scent strength is just right and the lather is very slick but what I don't like is that the lather remains quite thin no matter what I do. This isn't necessarily a problem but I prefer to build up a thick lather and actually the lather works up quite slowly, it doesn't exactly explode off the brush. Also, the post shave feel is not great, not as good as some of the top artisan soaps. In fact, it is no better than many cheaper soaps. Overall, it is just barely worth the relatively low price but it wouldn't be a go to soap for me.

Excellent soap base and an awesome scent! This was my first Catie's Bubbles product and it instantly went into my regular rotation. Definitely recommend!

This is an awesome scent. Nothing like i ever smelled before. Early morning walk in a mountain forest, with sun not visible but still daylight. Its nothing watery and nothing sunny. Just calm and peace. Wish these guys could do a perfume like this. With a scent like this, I cant care about the quality of soap (which is spot on, BTW). Pure Bliss!

This review is all about the scent because Caties soap base speaks for itself. Great suds but MAN THIS SCENT! If you enjoy the deep spicy darkness of Piment de la vie, you will need to get this soap as the bright and green brother. Hard pressed to decide which I like better. I get the oak moss, sandalwood, patchouli but there is more to it than that. Mother top notes seem fern and citrus to me. Very awesomely done scent.
