Handcrafted in the USA with the highest quality Russet horsehide from Horween Leather Tannery. This modular strop is made of horsehide leather, chosen for its rich luster and natural strength. It is assembled with solid brass Chicago screws that allow for easy disassembly to replace worn leather or canvas pieces. The leather stropping area measures 2.5 inches by 18 inches and is matched with 100% cotton-linen canvas strop for removing moisture post shave.

Great service!

This is my second Ezra Arthur strop. The first one was English Bridle (all great), but this one had two big cracks on the stropping leather. Not a big deal, because they are on lower part but still, not something you expect from a new strop. Anyway, I reached out to Brad, and he promptly sent me a replacement leather vie FedEx for free. This time the leather was perfect, he double check it! Great service from Maggard as always!

First a word about Maggard's customer service. It may simply be the best in the business. Besides the great communication, I can't say enough for their speed in processing. I ordered this strop on a Friday and it arrived on Monday. Kudos to Casie and all the crew. Now the strop - I wanted a step up from my Premier Strop Co. Latigo 2", and I'm not disappointed. The 2 1/2" width fits my razors perfectly, no "X" pattern necessary. This is a quality strop with a nice "medium" feeling draw. The linen/canvas strop has a great feel and audible feedback. Substantial construction all the way around. I'm very happy with the price/quality ratio of this strop.
