I think this aftershave really expresses America well. It's an American... American... For America... It's an aftershave. None of the aftershaves I've tried are this big. Furthermore, no one in my area knows this smell. A really good product.

Disappointed

Pretty much smells like original Barbasol to me. Some people may enjoy it, but it wasn’t for me.

American Blend used to be my all-time absolute favorite aftershave. “My” scent. I ordered a few new bottles (square blocky design) to restock because I was down to my last flask-style bottle. Immediately I knew something was off with the new bottles. The familiar yellow tint isn’t there anymore and the scent isn’t the same as my older-design bottle I still have. The scent is weaker, with more alcohol scent coming through, and it doesn’t last nearly as long. I still have the old bottle to compare it to and it is absolutely not the same. The recipe has obviously changed, possibly to cut costs. It still smells good, but it’s not the rich and long-lasting aftershave it was. The worst part about it is the price increased from $15 to $20 per bottle!
