Ti22 - Made of Grade 5 Titanium, it is lighter than steel but also stronger. The skill and experience required to machine an exotic metal like Titanium to the tolerances Henson demands makes a razor like this a very rare commodity.

  • Proudly designed, manufactured, and packaged in Canada.
  • Lifetime Warranty - pass it down from generation to generation.
  • Save The Environment - stop using plastic razors, use metal!

Grade 5 Titanium - The Henson Ti22 is painstakingly machined from grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) and comes in at double the weight of the Henson AL13.

Same Great Shave, Exotic Metal - Titanium is an exotic metal known for its strength and durability. This makes the Ti22 a truly "buy it for life" safety razor. And with the rave reviews our razors already get, you know you're buying something of exceptional quality and performance.

Nitronic 60 Threads. - Titanium threads have a higher likelihood to bind or gall, so we made the extra effort to machine Nitronic 60 stainless steel threaded inserts that make for a better feel when tightening and loosening the handle.

The Ti22 comes in 3 aggressions: mild/regular, medium and aggressive. These aggressions are the same in blade gap and exposure to our AL13 razor.

Mild - Exposure: 0.0013" - Blade Gap: 0.027"
Medium - Exposure: 0.0023" - Blade Gap: 0.033"
Aggressive - Exposure: 0.0045" - Blade Gap: 0.039"

Customer review

I've been wanting a "deluxe" razor for a while now, but have always been afraid of spending a lot of money on something and then not liking when I got it. The Henson Titanium gave me a worry-free way of doing this because I have already bought their aluminum version of this razor and like it VERY much. For me it gives an almost perfect shave (as I said in my review of that razor, a mild aluminum-color one). So I splurged and bought this titanium model and it is great! The images on Maggard's website accurately show what it looks like - shinier than the aluminum version and beautifully machined. It weighs more too (as you'd expect with titanium), and is as well-balanced as the aluminum version. I suppose I would have been satisfied with a somewhat less expensive stainless version for my "deluxe" model, but Henson doesn't make one (yet; hope, hope!), and titanium is about the best you can get, as I understand it. This appears to be about the going price for a titanium razor, so it's all good. So, the Henson razor lineup gives you an easy and worry-free path to a really beautiful titanium razor by trying an aluminum one first, assuming you want a mild or medium-aggressive razor (the titanium is also available in aggressive, I think). One wonders why other manufacturers don't have similar arrangements!
