Nice Brush

Synthetics do not seem to play well with my water but this brush behaves much like a silver-tip badger with my local conditions and has become one of my favorites. Bristles don't stick together, loads off the puck and splays very naturally. I have owned and used this brush regularly for approximately 5 months.

I prefer my other Maggard brushes!

Agree with brad W., maybe ours came from the same build! Just as he described, the wet brush pushes all to one side rather than splaying, which makes it hard to build a lather. The feel of it bare on the face is soft and luxurious ... but the performance is a let-down, not up to typical Maggard standards. I have two others and recommend both of them: My Maggard Razors Blue Swirl Two Piece Resin Handle Timberwolf Synthetic Shaving Brush is almost as soft and performs far better, and my Maggard Razors Marble Resin Handle Synthetic Shaving Brush is less soft but still pleasant, and far sturdier - very important for me because I bowl lather.

The softest most luxurious feeling synth out there. So freaking soft and firm enough to load directly from triple and quad milled soaps.

This is one of my favorite synthetic brushes, perfect backbone and splay, very soft and whips up a great lather. I buff it on a towel and it’s dry in no time. The handle has decent weight and is balanced well, can’t go wrong in getting this brush. Also Maggard’s shipped very fast, brush comes in a nice cardboard box.

While I agree that this is a cool looking brush with a decent Synthetic knot, I have found the knot splays in a strange way onlike any other Synthetic brushes in my den. Perhaps I got a "DUD" or something as the folks at Maggard are the best in the business IMO and do about 99% of my business with them. but the fibers when wet all push to one side rather than opening up the middle like most Synthetic brushes do. This makes face lathering awkward, messy, and difficult to add water.
