Ogallala Bay Rum and Sandalwood Aftershave Splash, 4oz

I can't seem to get enough of this. This is a great complement to an Ogallala Bay Rum shave, but it goes fine with Cella or any other mild-scented soaps I've paired it with. The scent lingers for quite a while, and I like catching whiffs of it at work. I can't wait to try it with the matching soap. It must be shaken well before using.

I really enjoy the smell of Taylor's Sandalwood shave cream, and Col Conk's bay rum soap. I saw this aftershave with both scents combined and couldn't wait to try it. I'm not sure if I got an off bottle, or if maybe my expectations were way out of line, but it sure doesn't smell like I expected. Both in the bottle, and on my skin it smells EXACTLY like holiday eggnog. I shook the bottle for a whole minute too. I even wore it for a few days, and the smell never really changed. My teenage daughters laughed at my, and my SO won't come near me when I have it on because I smell like the punch bowl from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I really, really, really wanted to like this because I enjoy both sandalwood and bay rum, and this is a boutique style product, supporting small business, etc. Honestly, I'm not sure what to do with this bottle now, other than save it for the next holiday season and slip some into drinks. 3 stars because it does feel nice on the skin, and the scent possibly does appeal to some. If you know any hot women who get turned on by eggnog, I'll send you the rest of my bottle...

Wonderful scent, very masculine. Nice cooling effect. Scent lasts for quite awhile but is not overpowering. It must be shaken before use to mix it thoroughly and get the full effects of the post shave soothing and the scent. Another fine aftershave from Ogallala. Will be purchasing again.

A fantastic aftershave/cologne. Just remember to shake the bottle before using or else the smell of the cloves can be overpowering. Leaves my skin feeling great and helps calm down any razor burn I might get on my neck.

Great Bay Rum scent, a classic spicy scent. In my opinion, one of the three scents every man should try.My wife did not care for it initially, but really likes it now. Not overpowering. Bracing and quite warming, so maybe not for everyone. One of my favorites and you can't beat that price.
