Figarose - We love fig at Barrister and Mann, especially green figs. The floral, tangy, fresh character of the unripe fruit just has so much possibility. But, on its own, it can be a bit much, so we’ve experimented several times with evening out our fig base, softening the accord, and properly showcasing its best features. Perhaps our favorite version to date, and certainly the most famous of them all, is Figarose.
Originally released in 2021 as part of our experimental Soft Heart line, which would go on to form the foundation for our current Omnibus shaving soap base, Figarose showcases the wonders of the fruit in a way that none of our other fig scents have managed. We blend fig, rose, lemon, fir, and the dry, salty rasp of driftwood for something truly special: a delicate, green, woody, crisp, soft, floral scent that refreshes the senses and lights up the day, no matter the season. You may think that fig is a Summer scent only. Figarose will convince you otherwise.
