Precision CNC Machining

Each of the Vector's three pieces is CNC machined from solid stainless steel right here in the USA by the same family-run machine shop we've partnered with on every single razor we've ever sold. After machining, each piece receives multiple rounds of quality control both by our machinists and internally here at Blackland HQ to ensure that your razor looks and shaves the way it's meant to.

Machined Finish

Because we're so proud of the machining that goes into our razors, our machined finish flaunts the tool marks and patterns left behind in the razor by the CNC machines rather than removing or covering them. We believe that each and every mark cut into the steel tells the story of the Vector and the craftspeople who made it. To make sure it's beautiful, we painstakingly program the CNC machine path to ensure that a beautiful and consistent finish is left behind.

Polished Finish

For those who prefer a more classic finish, we offer our polished finish. We polish our razors by hand in-house at Blackland HQ using a multistage process to remove the machining marks and bring out a mirrorlike finish. Stainless steel's properties allow us to achieve an extremely reflective polish which surpasses the level of polish that can be achieved on other metals.
