Proraso Green Tea and Oat Pre and Post Cream Glass Jar, 100ml

The scent may seem a little rosey and perfumey out of the jar but it settles into a nice, subtle, tea-y scent that doesn't carry over too much post-shave. Definitely softens and improves the shave as well. Too much menthol for me when combined with Proraso green but I'm a wimp. As an post-shave, it leaves the skin kind of... sticky? I'm not a great fan of the feel. Worth it for the pre-shave at the least.

Not surprisingly, I was more than pleased with the Green Tea & Oat Pre and Post Shave Cream-- Proraso continues to impress me with their extremely high-quality products that make shaving feel like an absolute luxury. I used this cream as a pre-shave, straight out of the shower. Just a small fingertip size amount is needed-- it rubs in extremely well, and keeps my skin feeling refreshed as I prepare my lather. I have also re-applied it in the middle of shaving (before second pass, across the grain), and it prevented any irritation that could occur. The smell is fantastic, and the glass jar packaging provides the perfect presentation for a high-end, top shelf cream. A must have for your wet shaving collection.

Great product! I use this as a pre-shave by rubbing it over my stubble and then placing a hot towel over my face for at least a minute. This not only softens the stubble, but it feels pretty good as well. After the shave, I'll also put this on in place of an after shave. Although it's a thick cream, it dissolves very nicely into the skin and has a great, cooling and refreshing feeling similar to aftershave. It smells as refreshing as it feels, but the smell won't linger for long. This is ideal for me, but may not be preferred for others.
