Shannon's Soaps Copaiba Rose Tallow Shaving Soap, 4oz

This is not a single note rose soap. It definitely has a spring and summer vibe that includes the floral backbone you should expect, but it does exude a vegetal or grassy note to me as well. I don’t think I would like it as a splash, but will comfidently use it with some of my greener splashes like GIT or La Toja. And Shannon’s performance scale is always top tier in latherability & post skin feel. Another crackin’ Maggard purchase from the Michigan Mecca of Wet Shaving enablement.

Simply put, there is no other soap/cream in my den (50 - 60 soaps) that can surpass Shannon's Soaps for quality of lather, slickness, and a post shave feel that is off the charts. And for $12 ? Shannon's is in my top 5 regardless of price....it just works. The Rose fragrance is relatively strong 6/7 off the puck and remains at that level, the scent lingers so you are going to smell like roses for awhile. Although Rose forward, the jasmine comes through relatively strong in the background. If you like florals your going to like Copaiba Rose. lf your on the fence then pass on this fragrance due to its scent strength. Personally, I dig it : )
