Stirling Soap Co. Margaritas in the Arctic Shaving Soap, 5.8oz

This one I'm not so sure about ? I did a bowl lather twice using a fat almond sized dab but if you get the ratio a little too wet with this one the lather fizzles and dissapates. I had to add more soap both times and it still didn't feel quite stable ?? The menthol maybe breaking the lather down ?? I'm going to lather straight from the puck next time and do a face lather instead with a boar brush and see if that helps. The soap has good slickness and gave me a good shave though so go figure ???

Everywhere I go I see this soap rated very high. So much that I went out and bought it. While I like Stirling, I absolutely hate this soap. The scent is so overpowering, it actually ruined my day, twice. The lather is great, but I high recommend trying this soap out first before buying it. 2 stars because quality of lather.

Lets start by saying that this is the perfect soap for the summer !! I am a huge fan of Proraso and am impressed by the post shave of it. Well…Stirling with Margaritas in the Arctic does the same…and more! Wow, what a magnificent sensation! When opening the jar you smell actual margaritas. My girlfriend loves this scent! The lime freshness and tropical feeling embraces you. Strength of the scent in the jar is about mid so I would say a 4 to 5. While creating the lather the strength remains the same. Creating the lather is ridiculously easy and have not experienced that before. The lather is very rich, thick cushion and slick. While shaving you feel your razor gliding smoothly over your face which is the start of the sensational feeling this soap is made for. While enjoying the scent you feel the protection of the soap, but also the freshness of the scent and the amazing refreshing feeling of the menthol which makes your face tingle and gives you a boost in just the right way! This stays with you for quite a while and specially on a hot day this is just amazing! Just what a man needs at the start of a day . It really doesn’t freeze your face like other menthol soaps can, so don’t worry. If you do not like soaps with menthol, this isn’t the one for you. Post shave remains amazing!! Best to combine with Eau Sauvage EdT. Would I recommend this soap? Absolutely!!

Excellent soap for the summer with a correctly balanced content of menthol, which is refreshing, but does not freeze the face. Excellent foam and pleasant smell. As an added bonus, it is possible to use this soap and as a shaving aid.

Lovely, refreshing soap. A very "summer" soap. The menthol is nice, and complements the zesty soap fragrance. Definitely only recommended for people who like menthol on their face.
