The Henson Titanium Ti22 Razor is a Titanium razor that puts luxury within your reach. The skill and experience required to machine an exotic metal like Titanium to the tolerances Henson demands makes a razor like this a very rare commodity. Coming in at twice the strength of steel but half the weight, the Henson Ti22 will add a sense of refined elegance to your morning shave.

Tungsten thrust bushing: We have equipped our razor with a tungsten bushing which serves one purpose: to reduce friction while tightening the razor. This creates a smooth feel, with little torque required to clamp the blade in place. Tungsten has a very low coefficient of friction and is fairly hard, as well as being very corrosion resistant, so it serves well as a bushing in this application. Additionally, the reduced friction will result in less wear between the handle and the base plate.

Value - Don’t Spend. Invest.

Whether you are currently purchasing disposable razors, razor cartridges at the drug store, or have signed up for a subscription program, investing in a Henson will have you seeing cost savings within the first year. The average user will get a month's worth of shaving from the 5pk of blades included. Additional blades can be purchased from anyone and it works out to about a dollar per month.

The savings add up to be quite a lot over 20 years. Do the math. (Roughly $11,000 in savings over 20 years).

Having this razor at these prices took a substantial investment and our position is to not charge customers ongoing fees or trap them in continual subscriptions.

We want to make a great product at a fair price. That's it.

Environmental Impact - Look to the Future - More than 2 Billion disposable Razor and cartridges reach the landfill every year. With a Safety Razor, your razor blades can be recycled at most metal recycling depots.

Conclusion - We expect this razor to be drama free, cut noticeably better, and cost significantly less than what you are currently using now. Girls & Guys alike. Period.

Customer review

I've been wanting a "deluxe" razor for a while now, but have always been afraid of spending a lot of money on something and then not liking when I got it. The Henson Titanium gave me a worry-free way of doing this because I have already bought their aluminum version of this razor and like it VERY much. For me it gives an almost perfect shave (as I said in my review of that razor, a mild aluminum-color one). So I splurged and bought this titanium model and it is great! The images on Maggard's website accurately show what it looks like - shinier than the aluminum version and beautifully machined. It weighs more too (as you'd expect with titanium), and is as well-balanced as the aluminum version. I suppose I would have been satisfied with a somewhat less expensive stainless version for my "deluxe" model, but Henson doesn't make one (yet; hope, hope!), and titanium is about the best you can get, as I understand it. This appears to be about the going price for a titanium razor, so it's all good. So, the Henson razor lineup gives you an easy and worry-free path to a really beautiful titanium razor by trying an aluminum one first, assuming you want a mild or medium-aggressive razor (the titanium is also available in aggressive, I think). One wonders why other manufacturers don't have similar arrangements!
