Fantastic soap! The protection and slickness on this soap is astonishing. I had passed by these for a while but decided to just try them. I’d highly recommend giving this a shot. As for the scent- I feel like all of us, myself include, get into the mix of all these complicated scent profiles. This soap reminds you how the simple scents can be amazing. Lilac is a very nice scent and the scent of the soap stayed with me during the shave and hung around a little after. Don’t know how long it lasts with an unscented/no aftershave.

I remembered the 2017 fragrance a little differently. As more dark and dark. Version from the end of 2019 as if slightly sweetened.

This soap was purchased as a gift for my dad so I don't have many details but first and foremost the scent is probably his favorite part and the whole reason I purchased it. There are only a few lilac scented soaps on the market and I do not regret choosing this one. He mentioned it took him a couple shaves to get use to it (I should mention he strickly face lathers) but once he had a couple shaves, the soap really lathered well for him and he seem genuinely pleased with it. The service is about as good as it gets with Maggard Razors. I made my order on a Saturday afternoon and within 45 minutes I was emailed tracking information. It was delivered on the following Monday. Great service and product. What more do you need?
