Maggard Razors Shaving Brush Knot 22mm Synthetic

This is such a nice knot, soft with enough backbone to give you a very nice face feel. Bought it to replace a knot on one of my vintage Erskine brush that has the nylon brush, (horrible synthetic knot by the way). But this knot is so much more better. Thank you Maggard!!

Perfectly collected knot, bought it for replacement in a brush from HJM, pasted without problems, foam very good option bangs remarkably, for a bowl in my opinion, I recommend!

I put a 22mm in a vintage handle and am delighted with the result - the is my go to travel brush - lathers up really well on my face using an old tube of travel cream. The base and knot were a tad too big for another 22mm brass and nickel handle that I had so could not fit it to that one. I like it so much that I have ordered another in 22mm and a 24mm as well.

I was skeptical at first for such a cheap priced synthetic knot. But I reasoned it and thought if it does not work out then I am out $6 only for the 22mm knot. I custom make shaving brushes from all kinds of domestic; exotic; and acrylic based materials. So I had some spalted Tamarind wood to build a nice synthetic brush for using with my scuttle and creams. Well the build went well and the brush knot was in perfect almost picture perfect condition with all hairs domed equally. I may have lost a half dozen hairs setting the brush up for use. Yes that is right, maybe half a dozen! I have badger knots when setting up new that will lose a few dozen until settled in. I have to say, this is the most supple brush knot I have used and I even have a S-Works full synthetic that is very soft and the Maggards is even softer. Well worth the money folks!

These knots are amazing. Incredibly soft with perfect backbone. I've made about 6 different brushes with these and everyone I give them to LOVES them. If you are looking for a replacement knot, or a knot for a project, don't hesitate. These are the best!
