Maggard Razors Shaving Brush Knot 24mm Beige Synthetic

If you like soft then this knot is for you. In the pic it looks a bit like a boar but in real life it looks a bit lighter and nobody will mistake it for a boar. Softer than the Plisson type and more densely packed. The raw knot has similar density to the tuxedo knot but does not have that kind of backbone. I love the softness but wanted more stiffness so set the loft a bit deeper in the handle. Works like a charm. The knot is bulb shaped, which I like. The knot I received is a bit uneven in that not all the fibers appear to have been stacked perfectly. Although the performance of the brush is nice, the look of it is a little off. Not to,worry though, this brush is a worker and not for show. I'll guess that my next beige will be perfect (as all other Maggard knots I have purchased are.). This knot acts very much like a Cashmere knot if you know that one.
