Simpson Case C1 Best Badger Shaving Brush, 19mm

A great brush! I bought this as a travel brush, but it is absolutely good enough to use every day -- the real life "little engine that could." It whips up an insane amount of lather and holds enough for three passes.

Simpson Case C1 Best Badger Shaving Brush is an A+ performer. I agree the brush is stiff but for me this is a positive. Plenty of lather, great "release" easy to hold, great to face lather or bowl lather. A Winner. Note if you like the Wee Scot like I do this is in the category of small yet great performer.

I just started using this after 15 years of using a Mason Pearson Pure Badger brush. The Mason is nice, but much larger, has much more loft, and is quite a bit softer. It's good for glycerin-based soap pucks. This little Simpson is awesome; much smaller and a bit stiffer. This whips shave cream into a rich lather quickly. I bought it mainly for travel with the small Simpson travel tube, but it has now displaced my old Mason. The quality is super, and I'm sure it will last me the rest of my life.
