Not exactly Old Spice scent

The cream has a soap smell with a hint of Old Spice without any spicy notes. The Old Spice lotion from India that Maggard sells is 100% accurate so go with that if you looking for strong original Old Spice scent.

Close to expiration

I know that similar to food “best buy” dates the product can and often is just fine past the expiration date, but the one I received was manufactured in 12/20 meaning it “expires” in December this year. I am thankful that Maggard imports this and makes it available to US customers without a multiple week wait as is with other marketplaces, but if this is a concern for you keep that in mind. I haven’t tried it yet, but it doesn’t seem as strong as the lime.

I decided to try this because I get as nostalgic as the next guy and kind of liked the idea of smelling like my grandfather. Well, my grandfather has been dead for 40 years, and my memory's good but not that good, so I have no idea if I smell like him or not. But I do like the smell, which is a little subdued. More importantly, I think it's a great cream with very good lathering and excellent lubrication.
