Speick Shaving Cream Tube, 75ml
I picked up a tube of this cream from the swap table at Maggard's meet last June. I had been wanting to try it, so an opportunity to give it a go for free seemed like a good arrangement. I have now gone through about half of the tube and have come to really like this stuff. I put about a one-ince ribbon in my bowl, and whip it up, adding a little water as I go. (One inch is plenty -- you could use half that much, if you wanted.) It yields a very thick, but very slick lather that works well on my face. Protection is top-notch; slickness likewise. The scent is a hard one to describe, but I find it to be pleasant. Since I invested nothing in the cream, I felt justified in buying the aftershave. I like that product, too!
Very good protection and slickness. I didn't care for the smell, though. Way too herbal.
This is my go to cream. Inexpensive and easy to face lather. It's a great everyday cream.
It's worth the cost just to open this tube and smell it. Yes, it smells that good. It also performs extremely well. It's truly a bargain in the wet shave world and I can't recommend it highly enough. Did I mention it smells good?
Great product. The lavender scent is very spicy and masculine and does not smell like lavender scented soap, but like actual herbal lavender. For some reason it reminded me a little of my grandpa even though I don't associate him with lavender, at all. I lathered with my big badger on the wet side and got enough soap to shave my face and my neighbor's face out of about a one inch ribbon of cream. I did have to face lather as well as bowl lather to get it to thicken up, but that is only because my brush was way to wet. A great product definitely worth a try. Good value and price. I like it as well as Proraso and Musgo Real.
