Treet Yourself

These are fantastic blades. I’m new to DE/wet shaving this year after shaving my head so the process of finding blades that work with my skin (sensitive) and hair type (thick, straight) has been mostly trial and error. I shave exclusively with a Leaf razor and 3 SE blades by just snapping DEs in half. After thoroughly researching on Reddit, I decided to check out Maggard and built my own blade sampler with the most popular makes & models and of course, started a spreadsheet of rankings for each Of those I’ve tried so far (Gillette 365, Gillette Permasharp, Bic chrome platinum in the top 5), Treet Classics are hands-down the best. Gentle yet sharp, hardly any weepers or cuts or irritation. Highly recommend that people with sensitive skin try these.

Close

These are good but a bit aggressive for me. They are stiffer than what I'm used to, Silver Blue, Gillette Black, and Feathers even. Light touch and have your technique down with these babies. Super close shave !

First shave is a bit agressive, second shave is the sweet spot and third is good. These are a bit stiffer than say a Silver Blue, a bit more agressive too. Three sharp smooth shaves for me.

I guess these are carbon steel instead of stainless. Very thin feeling blade, which had me a bit concerned at first, but lord...these things are the best blades Ive tried so far. I bought maybe 20 different blades from various companies so far trying to find what I like the most. These hit the number one spot the first time I used one. The down side may end up being that they arent stainless and rust could be an issue. I'll have to wait and see. But for shaving theyre fantastic.

Customer review

I tried these for no other reason than nostalgia. They weren't stainless, they were carbon-steel. I bought 100 and tried them in an open comb Parker, an expensive razorock Wunderbar Slant and a Feather AS-D2. It did as well as any other blade in the first 2 razors in my hands... NICK FREE BBS, but the Feather still likes Kai & Feather blades best. I usually get 5 or 6 shaves from a blade. I quit after 3 with the Treet blades. Still, they are cheap enough to even use just once if you buy them in bulk. The price drops from $0.25 per blade for 1 pack to $0.09 per blade when you buy in them in the hundreds. I'm rubbing my face now at 2220 hours, 13 hours after a Saturday morning shave and there is still almost no stubble. Not too shabby for a discount blade. I DO, remove the blade gently blot it and the razor dry and everything carefully dry air dry prior to putting MT razor back together to proactively prevent rust
