The Genuine, the classic aftershave, returns with a renewed formula.

Made from high quality natural ingredients, it is made up of natural extracts of rosemary, thyme, lavender and sage, among others. In addition, its aroma is an explosion of spices with citrus and mentholated touches that melt into base notes of woods, musk and sandalwood. A fragrance that will transport you to the aromas of traditional barber shops with powdery and menthol notes.

INGREDIENTS: Aqua (water / water), Denatured alcohol, Glycerin, Peg-40 Hydrogenated castor oil, Perfume (fragrance), Menthol, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, Thymus vulgaris (thyme) flower/leaf extract, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower extract, Salvia officinalis leaf extract (sage), Acetum (vinegar), Benzyl alcohol, Linalol, Benzyl benzoate, Coumarin, Limonene, Benzyl salicylate, Hydroxycitronellal, Amyl cinnamal, Geraniol, Benzyl cinnamate, Cinnamyl alcohol, Citronellol, Tributyl citrate, Sodium benzotriazolyl, Butylphenol sulfonate, Buteth-3, tris (tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) citrate , CI 19140 (fd&c yellow no. 5), CI 17200 (d&c red no. 33), CI 42090 (fd&c blue no. 1).

I normally use the Fliod blue which I use daily and love the sent. So I figured I would try this sent. It does have a old time classic sent but a little bit on the soapy smell for me you may like it or you may think it just alright like me.

This is a true "Barber Shop" scent. I previously reviewed the Floid Vigoroso scent and decided to purchase a bottle of "The Genuine".This is a very clean and very fresh scent that feels great on the skin after a good shave. This has less menthol than the Floid Vigorosa. This scent is what I remember from when my dad would take us to the Barber Shop back in the 1960's. Floid and Clubman-Pinaud are the "true" Barber Shop scents that I remember from back in the 1960's. Like I said if you prefer more menthol go with the Floid Vigorosa. I alternate between the Vigorosa and the Amber "Genuine" plus the glass bottle that it comes in is really cool! Very old school Barber Shop and it will last you a while. Every once in a while you have to treat yourself! This is a Very Good after shave! Floid "Amber Genuine" and "Vigorosa", Fine Accoutrements "American Blend" and Clubman-Pinaud are my top favorites.........
