Martin De Candre Absinthe Artisan Shaving Soap, 200g
Martin de CandreThe Absinthe shaving soap reveals a scent of aniseed freshness, slightly minty. You will be seduced by its icy and energizing color which enhances the aromatic flavor of star anise, fennel and green anise. The creamy foam of your shaving soap deliciously infused with this energizing, subtle and herbaceous scent. Like the belle époque drink, this absinthe shaving soap takes on the green notes and delicate bitterness of this astonishing spirit. This product contains 200g of Absinthe scented shaving soap in a glass jar with an aluminum lid. Manufacturing: Saponified in a cauldron using exclusively vegetable oils, our shaving soap is the result of artisanal know-how, 100% made in France. Our entire range is vegan in nature handmade in our workshop in Anjou Product tips and tricks: Using a shaving brush, you will be able to create a dense and creamy foam which will make it easier to pass with the razor. Your skin is prepared, softened and protected during and after shaving. Your face will be nature soothed and soft to the touch. Our shaving soap is particularly economical to use because you only need very little product to fill your shaving brush with creamy and generous foam. A 200g jar lasts at least one year for daily shaving . Be sure to always drain your pot after use. The lid provided should only be used when moving: the longer your soap stays in the open air, the more it can dry out between each use! Remember that humidity is soap's worst enemy... We strongly advise against using blades with lubricating strips ! They risk sticking together with our shaving foam, making it impossible to remove the hairs . Too much water and the lather will become runny and will dry out too quickly when applied to face. - Brush the shaving soap in a circular, whisking motion with the shaving brush until a rich lather forms. Do not press down on the bristles, as this may damage the brush - simply move in quick circular motions. - Now use the brush to apply the lather to your beard in small, gentle, circular motions or in gentle painting motions. Experiment until you produce a good lather. - When finished quickly rinse the shaving soap bowl-like container under cold water to remove excess foam. Invert bowl so as to let soap drain and dry. Soap dries best when bowl is left open. A good shaving soap used along with a shaving brush provides an extremely close shave making you feel clean and comfortable. Martin de Candre Artisan Shaving Soap Samples
Martin de CandreCreated in 1974, the traditional soap factory Martin de Candre decided to promote one of its specialties which became more and more demanded and searched for: The Shaving Soap. A product entirely fabricated at the factory with a paste like consistency. It is manufactured through a saponification process of 100% vegetal oils (olive, coconut) and potash (alkali). This shaving soap turns into an abundant foam which “sticks” to the skin : Applied on the face, it turns into a smooth and unctuous cream like substance. Saponification made with heat action, in the traditional way in Martin de Candre atelier, with 100% vegetal and potash oils. Thanks to its 40 years of experience, they guarantee a perfected process. This process allows excellent keeping of the soap without needing any conservatives. A luxurious, efficient and long-lasting product. NOTE: Martin de Candre Soaps are extremely hard, and tend to "crumble" due to their extreme density and lack of water content. This means a sample of MdC might last 10+ shaves; but, it's a challenge to transfer it from your sample container into the bottom of a bowl/mug. This CAN be transferred with some effort. Just pack it down hard onto your mug/bowl with the back of a thick/sturdy spoon. Each container is hand packed by a member of Maggard Razors. Each 1/4oz jar will be filled approximately to the bottom of the threads. The sample will be enough for several shaves!
