At long last my shaving cream formula is ready for the lime light. It only took 2 years of research & development behind closed doors and hundreds upon hundreds of not quite perfect prototypes. From the start, I had one overarching goal: to make a shaving cream that's better than what's already out there and to make it vegan and as natural as possible. Well, the bar was set pretty high with the likes of Castle Forbes and Xpec, which is why it took so long. Every formula that didn't make it simply wasn't good enough. Not creamy enough, not slick enough, not moisturizing enough. So, I kept at it, changing this, adjusting that, swapping this out, etc. I kept at it until I created something I could be truly happy with. The result is WSP's first shaving cream. Slick & Easy to Lather. My shave cream is even easier to lather than my shaving soap. So easy to lather, you can use it without a brush! And it's just as slick if not better than my shave soaps, which are pretty darned slick. Best with a Brush, but Works Brush-less . For a super rich, dense, & thick lather that goes on for days, use a brush. However, it will work if you scoop some out and generate a lather with just your hands. Long Lasting 7.4oz of Shave Cream. When I decided it was time to add a shaving soap to my product line, it needed to lather easily in hard water, be super slick, and protective. I started by looking at the existing options, but only one truly stood out. Considered the holy grail of shaving soap, imitated, but never replicated, Martin de Candre’s iconic vegan shaving soap stood out as the king of shaving soap. Some people even considered it the Holy Grail of shaving (it costs $70 per jar). So, I set out to crack the code… Long story short, after thousands of hours of R&D and hundreds of failed prototypes, an early version of Rustic Soap was born. It lathered like a champ. Generating enough bubbles for 6 passes easily. And it was slick, super slick. I had cracked the code. But that wasn’t good enough. After spending so many hours and dollars, I wanted to make the best soap possible. So, I set out to make a better vegan shave soap. The main complaints about MdC are: it’s drying and there are no scent options. So, I made it better by incorporating shea butter and a ton of awesome scents. The result was a soap that lathers as soon as you look at it, that smells great and provides enough cushion & moisture to impress even the most discerning gentleman.
