Our Cedarwood and Sandalwood Aftershave Balm is an exceptionally soothing balm which uses natural ingredients such as witch hazel and essential oils to gently protect, moisturize and replenish without leaving a sticky residue.

Suitable for all skin types, the Castle Forbes balm is free from parabens, added colors and alcohol and is fragranced only with essential oils for a deep woody scent. Although the aroma is very important, our real reason for using cedarwood and sandalwood oils is for their antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities which can be really beneficial after shaving and, historically, cedarwood essential oil has also been used to treat spots and scars, yet another amazing benefit of this balm.

Maggard Razors will make every effort to ship out orders on the same day placed before 12pm EST Monday-Friday. On Saturday, most parcels should ship if placed before 10am EST - otherwise it will ship the following Monday. Orders will be shipped in the order in which they are received. Performance: The balm is slightly sticky for the first few seconds after application. But once it dries, it feels very nice. No greasy feeling. Scent: This scent is very straightforward. Scent is woody/earthy, and no cologne/fragrance added. This is nothing like Taylor of Old Bond Street (TOBS). When you open the bottle, the scent of fresh-cut woods hits your face. You won't be mistaken for anything else. Go cut some cedar/sandalwood, and put it on your nose--that's what you will smell. I would imagine this is what Ron Swanson would smell like. If you are more of TOBS sandalwood, or even St. James of London, kind of a person, you may dislike it.
