I know that the case is really flimsy and cheap but it truly works. I use blood thinners and just put it on the nick for about 5-10 seconds. It’s much more effective then an alum block and really inexpensive for what does. Great product, casing should be better. I will definitely buy again.

The styptic itself does the job, but the plastic case is super-cheap. I just ended up leaving a broken piece on my bathroom sink, but I wish I had a better, more elegant solution.
