Lime scent is in the mix with others. Overall impression is only about 30-40% lime/citrus. That being said, it has a fresh, clean scent similar to what you might smell during a visit to an old-school professional barber shop. Certainly good enough to splash on after any casual shave and, depending on your preference, use for more special occasions. Fairly good quality and value.

I'm giving this 4 stars and am slowly liking the scent better every time I use it. I'm actually new to this scent. I've been a clubman user for years and finally got around to try this stuff. When smelling it directly from the bottle, it's just way to strong. From the bottle, it smells like concentrated lime laundry detergent or hand soap. BUT... , when applied on the face and neck after shaving, it is really pleasant. What's interesting, is the wife really likes the scent more than me and isn't she the MOST important judge anyway??? Give it a try, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. It has a very citrus-lime scent that's great in the hotter weather months.

Another good value from the Clubman-Pinaud line-up. A touch too sweet smelling and I do prefer the Captain's Choice Lime, but it's hard to beat this one for the money.
