Produced by iconic Pinaud Clubman, Osage Rub is an invigorating splash for head and face. Since 1810 in France, Pinaud has been creating fine men's toiletries now found in barber shops and shaving den around the world. From its hair tonics to its aftershaves, Pinaud Clubman says classic and masculine.

With this mentholated splash, you get a strong "tingle" for your freshly shaved face or a refreshing pick-me-up after a shower. Splash on head or face. One reviewer said, "I can't get enough of this stuff! It really sloths and cools down the face, right after a wet shave. It extinguishes razor burn and has an aromatic scent that could be found in the finest barber shops. This is the "Altoids" for your face!"

The scent is very old school barbershop. The feeling is like immersing your face in a bucket of partially melted snow, which is what makes it my go-to AS for the hot Los Angeles summers. The other thing I like is that the scent tapers off fairly fast, so you can pair it with a cologne and the scents will not conflict. This is one AS that's always in my rotation.

As others have said, Osage Rub is amazing! It is an arctic blast of cooling on your skin. It is a lot like Mennen Skin Bracer, but on steroids. So if you like Skin Bracer, you'll really like Osage, I think. Instead of "Skin Bracer," Osage would more accurately be called "Brace Yourself!" ;-) It's kind of interesting the way it works on your skin, kind of in 3 stages. The first is the initial cooling feeling and the scent (which I do think is somewhat like Vicks Vaporub, but not objectionable - I mean, they do have similar menthol ingredients). So that cooling feeling is much like a lot of after shaves (kind of the point, I think), but pretty strong. That kind of calms down after about 5-10 seconds, but then another wave of cooling flows thru the area, which is pretty surprising. That lasts about another 5-10 seconds. Then the 3rd stage leaves your skin with a nice cool feeling which lasts another 10 minutes or so. The scent dissipates pretty quickly, which is a good thing, I think (I don't like to smell my after shave all day long). Osage Rub has become my main after shave. It's great!

This stuff is amazing. I'll splash it on my face for a pick-me-up during the day and rub it through my hair after a morning shower. The fact that it's cheap is just an added bonus.

My dad had a bottle under the sink for as long as I can remember. I would use it when I first started shaving as a teen. When I showed him a pic of the bottle I bought he was like “I need that!” The smell brings back so many memories.

Been using for years, recently bought another bottle from Maggard Razor. I bought Fine Snake nite at same but compares to Osage Rub. I love the stuff, wakes you up, great scent, cooling. I plan on using it for many more years.
