My girlfriend bought me a jar of this and wow I was impressed. It's a strong, manly scent of tobacco, vanilla, & a woodsy cedar scent with a bit of a warm, sweet smoky finish (kind of like smelling your grandpa in his leather armchair smoking vanilla pipe tobacco from across the room). It's nearly strong enough to be used as a solid cologne and I've had several compliments on the great scent (the gf adores it!). As a balm it is quality stuff. Melts nicely and does a good job of keeping the beard hairs moist. Adds a healthy shine & helps to keep things from getting frizzy and unkempt. Although not specifically a styling product this balm definitely helps tame a beard and keep you looking neater. My only wish was that it was less expensive but hey, you get what you pay for.
