The Edwin Jagger Hydrating Pre-Shave Lotion is a popular skincare lotion used to prepare skin prior to shaving. This product is designed to soften and prepare skin pre-shave for an enhanced and refreshing experience. It is formulated with a unique blend of natural and vegan ingredients, enhanced by plant extracts such as Shea Butter and Arnica Extract.

When used correctly, it will assist with razor glide, reduce razor burn, and protect sensitive skin. The lotion is compatible with all types of shaving brush and will not cause any damage to shaving brush bundles.

Usage: For best results, moisten skin with warm water and apply a small amount using fingertips. Massage into the desired area in a circular motion to create a protective layer. Leave on the stubble as a protective layer and lather up as normal with a shaving soap or cream on top of the Pre-Shave Cream. Once this process has been carried out, your skin will be ready for you to apply shaving cream directly over the top of the protective layer.

The product is ready to use in a 75ml squeeze tube for ease of use and is supplied in exclusive packaging to protect it during transit.

Works great for my coarse beard. I take a hot shower and use this product for my per-share routine. I am not a menthol lover so it's nice that this only has a hint of cooling menthol. Would recommend this for anyone.

Bought this over a year ago and still use it. Since then I have tried quite a few different pre shaves. This one is still on the very top for me along with the Mickey lee pre shave gel. I still switch out between both every single shave.. It just works to keep it simple. Adds extra glide to the shave and also helps with the overall face feel after the shave. Does have a menthol kick to it but I like that. I have tried a lot of the artisan pre shaves and a lot of them do not really do much in my opinion but this product does what it is design to do. If your looking for a product to improve your shaves or make your shaves a little more comfortable and more knick free, then give it a try I believe anyone could benifit from this product.

I was using The Art of shaving pre shave oil for quite some time, and it did work, but hated the oily residue... I was told by a Maggards sales rep about this product. It works! It does have a decent menthol kick, and it makes everything nice n slick (that rhymes FYI) What really surprised me is the extra glide and protection stayed after the 1st pass. With some pre shaves, its gone well before the shave is over. Worth the money, and it has some cool packaging.

Menthol feel with a slight tingly and cooling effect. A little goes a long way and the pre-shave lotion seems to soften the beard.
