For those of you that want the simplest version of a quality shaving soap, our Plain Shaving Soap is The Los Angeles Shaving Soap Company's artisanal saponified vegan shaving soap formula with no added scent.

This soap will still have a faint odor due to the ingredients used, but very minimally. Try our black void soap for an almost completely odor free soap.

Each jar contains approx. 4 oz of shaving soap.

Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Palm Kernel Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Water, Aloe Vera Juice, French Red Clay, Sodium Lactate, Allantoin (comfrey plant).

So, I bought this soap recently because it was in a black container. My wife is on a pandemic lockdown redecorating fit. She put my Stirling soap away because it didn't go with her new countertop decor scheme. She said " dont they make soap in a black container". Hence the LA shaving soap. I had no expectations. Get this , the soap is black. This stuff was easy to lather, which was grayish. It made a thick lather like yogurt,but a lot of soaps do. What makes this soap special is that is off the chart slippery. I usually get some tugging with a four day growth. I have been using the same razor for the last five years and it just slid across my face. Amazing. Black super slippery soap, and the container goes so nice alongside the new ceramic weiner dog toothbrush holder.
