                    The beard balm is fantastic. It offers subtle hold with just a little bit of give and adds a bit of shine to the beard but it not overwhelming. It's firm in the jar which makes getting the right amount easy (especially if you use a small plastic spoon like you would get from ice cream parlor) but works soft very quickly becoming easy to apply. The reason it does not get 5 stars is that of all the scents added to this balm, the peppermint is distinctly overwhelming. While the other scents are detectable to a learned nose, peppermint is what everyone else is going to experience.
