Our V3A (Aggressive) closed comb safety razor head is for those looking for a bit more “bite” in their shave.

This finish is a proprietary plating like very few on the market. It is durable and beautiful all at the same time.

With a wider blade gap, more exposure, and less blade curvature, this razor is great for those looking for more control over their shaving angle. Be careful though, the V3A can bite!

Standard M5 x 0.8 threading

Materials: Plated Zinc Alloy

Warranty: 6 months from date of purchase

I’ve used the chrome Standard V3 for a few years. I was never impressed with the fit between the two halves, or to the blade. However, the tolerances on this Agressive head are much improved! The two halves fit like they should, and it keeps the blade centered. So far, I’ve used this head with Gillette Nacet blades, and haven’t had even a nick. The Standard version was giving me nicks almost every shave. I was thinking of buying a higher dollar stainless head, but I can’t justify the cost for as well as this head performs.

I've tried almost all the Maggard heads now and this one is my favorite. I have coarse hair that grows in tons of different directions on my legs and pits and found the milder heads required a lot of passes to get a smooth shave which often resulted in bumps, general irritation, or nicks more often than not even with my super sharp Kai blades. So I tried an aggressive head and it's made a HUGE difference! Shaves are super smooth now, and way faster. I generally only need 1-2 passes on even the most gnarly areas of hair growth (where before I'd be doing 4-5). Aggressive is very accurate though so obviously be careful if it's your first go with one, cutting yourself is a lot easier and you need practically no pressure with this.
