Just a great knot

When I use this knot for my customers, I was able to put this knot in a 30mm hole, with the hole drilled to a minimum depth of 9mm deep. Of course the depth you prefer will determine the loft you will achieve. You can easily get a 59-60mm loft if you really want the highest maximum loft......or you can have a hole drilled to 15mm and get about 54mm +/- loft. The Timberwolf knot is my favorite knot and my personal go to knot in my den. Heck, I gave it the name "Timberwolf" and the supplier decided the name is fitting and kept the name for all vendors. It really is a soft knot, but gives just enough backbone for most users. If you like slightly more stiff synthetic knots, the Black and White knots that MR carries will fit the bill for you. The G5 knot they carry is also giving just a bit more backbone, yet a really nice soft feel. Hard to describe how awesome those knots feel and perform. Honestly, if you like synthetic knots, you can't go wrong with any of those 3 knots.

Customer review

I installed a Timberwolf in a black handle and was surprised at how well it turned out. I followed Brad's instructions and got perfect install the first time.
