By request, our Maggard Razors Artisan Shaving Soap is now available in an Unscented formula. All of the performance you love without any fragrance - perfect for those with extremely sensitive skin.

Our shave soaps are made through the hot process. Their consistency is a soft soap, similar to an Italian soft soap.

Our shave soaps are made by Maria Arman, a soap maker and potter from Michigan. Check out her website at ttffcraft.com

Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Water, Coconut Oil, Tallow, Potassium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Lactate

  • Maggard Razors will make every effort to ship out orders on the same day placed before 12pm EST Monday-Friday. On Saturday, most parcels should ship if placed before 10am EST - otherwise it will ship the following Monday.  Orders will be shipped in the order in which they are received. If it is an unusually busy day your order may be delayed no more than 1 business day. 

  • Unused items (except samples) may be returned within 10 days for a full refund or store credit. For orders that qualified for free or reduced shipping, if a return causes the resulting total order size to be under the free shipping threshold (currently $59.00), the actual cost of shipping we paid will be reduced from your refund. Used products may not be returned, and all sales are final on Samples.

Maggard's unscented soap is a winter. Super lather, glide and post shave protection. And at this price point a super buy.

Excellent stuff. Lathers great, plenty of lubricity, leaves skin feeling good, and has a nice subtle scent to it.

I was disappointed. While very mild which is good, I found this soap did not lather well. Somewhere around the same or a little less than Proraso White. This characteristic is not why I rate this soap so low. It is because I found it to really lack in the "slickness" department. Something I am finding with a lot of soaps for sensitive skin. This soap gave me very little protection and did not aid in glide. I have a few different soaps (Proraso - menthol irritates, Col. Conk = second best, Nivea, The Real Shaving Company =best so far) for sensitive skin and this soap provides the least amount of slickness. I was hoping this would be my favourite as it is the mildest out of all and while scentless, smells the best. The jar is great and it is made in the USA. Too bad.

Picked up a tub of this when me and my sister took a little road trip to their store last Thursday and finally got around to using it today and this stuff is great. I have tried a couple of their other soaps and this stuff performs just as great. It's easy to load and build up a nice lather even with my really hard water. The lather is nice and slick and it has great post shave properties, also it really is unscented so it's great for those with sensitive skin. This stuff will definitely be a regular.
