This was one of the first "NEW" safety razors I ever bought. I was told it was Aggressive and it sure was. I have finally mastered DE shaving and love this razor. I start on setting 5 for the first 2 passes then switch to setting 2 for the third and then setting 1 for the touch up pass. I love this razor and almost have all three of them. Possibly getting the chrome one soon, then the collection will be complete.

I like the Futur the best of all razors I've tried. I am partial to heavyweights, and this one sure delivers. I let the weight of the razor do the work, adding no pressure, and I get great to optimal results. I like that I can adjust it so that I could use it on a setting of 5 or 6 on my cheeks, and 3 or 4 on my neck - best of both worlds. I like the 39c for the same reason - just find the angle and let the weight of the razor do the job.

After getting the futur i sold all of my other razors. I never used them anymore, and when I did I wasn't happy with them, so I got rid of them. I think this razor is beautiful, and the finish makes it feel amazing on my face. I have the satin chrome which gives it a smoother glide than polished chrome. While it moves on my face well I don't have any problems holding it. I am always a little nervous to adjust the head while a blade is in, but i haven't cut myself yet. this razor is big, significantly larger and heavier than any other razors i've had. i sometimes have trouble with it under my nose because of the size of the head. Now that i have a slant i keep one in each bathroom and use both pretty equally, but i still very much like this one. I highly recommend it.

My first DE A bit of a monster, not ideal for someone's first safety razor. I still enjoy it, but the size took some getting used to. Hard to target the areas under your nosesndsideburns with this razor. Those are my only issues with it. In terms of design, I initially thought it somewhat ugly, but have comparing. INCREDIBKY well-made, of course. I love the adjustability. This razor has a reputation for being aggressive inmost settings, but I haven't found that to be the case. Works great (for me: curly, thick hair. Skin that is not sensitive) with very sharp blades. Value-wise: decent. Pricier than many three-piece DEs, but I love the ease of adjustment and blade removal/replacement.
