Silvertip Fibre - high-quality synthetic fibres, a world first: a premium quality developed in-house analogously to natural silvertip badger. Silvertip Fibres are tangibly soft, extremely long-lasting and somewhat less sensitive in everyday use as water drips of them and they dry faster than natural hair.

The synthetic fibers are more economically to use, create a particularly creamy lather but require only half of the amount of medium compared to natural brushes. Their solid fibers make them more hygienic and easier to clean.

High-grade resin requires expert craftsmanship. The material is turned from round rods and polished. Handles in this design are highly durable and possess excellent haptic properties.

Handle diameter: 26mm
Handle Length: 47mm
Loft: 50mm
Knot: 21mm

This is my first synthetic brush and I can say that it is of very good quality. The fiber is very soft and feels nice on my face. If you have never tried a synthetic brush before, you can probably find a makeup brush from your wife or girlfriend and get the idea (don't use those to shave with though!). The brush also dries very quickly and of course doesn't have an odor like some animal-sourced brushes. The biggest issue I have with this is that because it is hydrophobic, it does not really retain lather as well as badger hair, which is hydrophilic. If the lather is watery at all, it tends to slide down the brush and onto my hands. It also makes it hard to spread on my face or do much beard lathering. That said, it does have a good amount of backbone and doesn't flop as easily as badger hair.

I love this brush. It's very soft and produces more lather with less product than my silvertip and boar brushes. It also does not require soaking and dries very quickly. In two years it's held up great as my most used brush.
