An opulent twist on the classic R41, this razor's rose gold chrome finish adds a touch of luxury to the ever-reliable MÜHLE Safety Razor. Long lasting and corrosion-resistant, the MÜHLE R41RG chrome-plated finish still provides incomparable quality and longevity. A premium product that produces a distinctly close and lasting shave.

Unlike modern blade systems, the R41RG foregoes plastic mechanisms. Growing concern in the effects of disposable plastic makes the R41RG a great choice for the environmentally conscious, reducing both plastic waste and unwelcome environmental impacts, without compromising on precision.

The safety razor with open tooth comb was developed specifically for experienced wet shavers, allowing for a vigorous, direct shaving technique. The blade is less likely to become clogged by stubble and residues so is generally preferred by men with denser, stronger beard growth.

Appearance: This thing is gorgeous, well made and appears to be built to last. On appearance an build quality, it's a step below ATT. bit it's darn close. Rose gold is a nice color change from the standard stainless steel colors a majority of safety razors come in . Performance: If you have been wet shaving for a period of time, this is not a razor to fear, but it is aggressive. It comparing it to my Fat tip piccolo I say they are very close in aggressiveness, but the R41 is built much better, looks better, and has a handle that is more suited to shaving with an aggressive razor (I find the FTTP handle to skinny and short). However, a FTP is 1/3 the cost. If you are looking for an aggressive razor and are purchasing your first, perhaps a FTP is the way to go since they shave very similarly and the FTP is much cheaper. That way if you dislike the aggressive nature of these razors or they don't agree with your skin, you aren't out much at all. Handle: Looks gorgeous, but it tad light for my taste. The head can be used in a variety of heavier handles you may have in your den so if you dislike the handle this comes with, you can easily swap it for you already one. Overall I really like this razor. It's aggressive, yet doesn't irritate my neck which, a lot of razors do. You wouldn't want to use this razor if you were in a rush or hung over, but I'm planning on reducing the number of razors in my den shortly, because they just aren't getting used now that I have the R41.....
