Parker Safety Razor’s Shaving Soap Bowl is hand made from genuine mango wood. Mango wood is a renewable resource — it comes from the same tree that bears the popular fruit. Mango Wood can take a beating and retain it’s beauty.

After using, simply leave the lid off to allow the soap to dry and then replace the lid as needed.

Could be better. The finish has brush hairs left in it and the wood is extremely light, like balsa wood. I don't think it will weather any abuse. Other than the quality it's completely functional and I use it for every shave. I wouldn't recommend it for the price.

Parker's website shows this bowl as being made from Mango (a renewable wood source) not Ebony.
