Double-edge safety razors are the modern gentleman's preferred way to shave. The personal adjustability of the Rockwell 6S allows you to adjust the razor to perfectly suit your skin, facial hair, and shaving soap - ensuring a close, smooth, and comfortable shave every time. Made of stainless steel, the Rockwell 6S not only looks elegant, but is hefty enough to ensure easy maneuvering and durable enough to survive a drop on the floor.

The Rockwell 6S includes the following all stainless steel components, made in the USA:

- Handle with knurled grip
- 3 reversible base plates providing sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
- Plate A: Sizes 1 and 3, Plate B: Sizes 2 and 4, Plate C: Sizes 5 and 6
- Blade cap
- 5 Rockwell double-edge razor blades

Each base plate has a different blade gap on each side. Just flip the plate over to get a brand new shave.

Fun Quality

I received this razor as a gift recently and, as a wet shaver of over a decade, I'm finding it really fun to use. Starting with a more aggressive plate (blade angle) for my first pass with the grain and then using a milder setting for a second to maybe a third pass at different directions makes this a really unique shaving experience. It's easy to tell quality right out of the nice packaging as well. I gave my razor a look over and was surprised to not even find any minor defects in finish which I could have forgiven a bit. Since it's built to last a lifetime, the higher cost for quality material and finish feels justified and I look forward to this shaving experience for the rest of my life!

By far the best DE razor I have ever used, and I have used many, including vintage, over the years. The Rockwell 6s is highly efficient while being extremely smooth. I started using plate 3 but over time graduated to using plate 5. My beard is what I classify as medium and plate 5 strikes the ideal balance of effectiveness and comfort. This razor offers 6 different plate settings making it highly adaptable to your beard and skin. After using dozens of different DE razors over the years the Rockwell 6s is the only one I reach for now.

Over my many years of wet shaving I have had Gillettes, Merkurs, Muhles, Above the Tie, and Feather safety razors. The Rockwell 6S may be the best of them all. Considering the price, it punches way above its weight. I have had it for a week and have used plates 2 through 5 and can tell you that the R5 plate is absolutely as close as a straight razor. Plates 2, 3, and 4 are just barely less close. All the plates are so comfortable and forgiving that you would have to be incredibly careless to cut yourself with this thing. The weight and balance seem perfect. The handle is a good length and thickness, and very nicely knurled. The 6S seems very robust and looks and feels like it should last forever. The appearance? Well that's up to you. To me it looks and feels a little "industrial" -- like a tool -- but the shave is the thing, and by that criteria, it is perfect. Maybe the best shave I have ever had. If I had a son or nephew who was learning to shave, this would be the razor I would by for him.

Quality piece, and neat to play with the different heads. Bummed though ($$$) because I like my Maggard with V3 head better.

I used a Weber for about 3 years and really liked it but it always required a 4 pass shave to achieve BBS for me. With the Rockwell S on plate 5, I am able to achieve a daily BBS shave in 3 passes with no irritation or weepers. In fact, I find this razor to be very efficient at plate 5 with about 0% chance of doing ****** injury to my face. I can't believe how I can mindlessly achieve a BBS shave without really paying attention. Smooth and efficient. However, I find little use for the plates less than 4.
